Madison, WIA two-vehicle head-on collision in Montrose, Wisconsin leaves two people injured Tuesday morning, October 14. The incident occured around 5:35 a.m. on Country Road PB by Purcell Road when 24-year-old James C. Hunt, of Madison, was driving south and crossed into northbound traffic, hitting 44-year-old motorist Richard Curran, of Monroe, whose vehicle caught fire. Firefighters from Verona and Belleville responded to the scene and put the fire out, also removing both drivers from the wreckage. Both men were taken to UW Hospital to be treated for serious injuries.

Madison, WIBenjamin E. Wealti was arrested after striking and injuring a pedestrian on West North Street, then driving into an active construction area and getting stuck in a ditch. He was charged with another third-offense OWI in April that is still pending.
