Justin P. Davidson was driving on Bogard Road near its intersection with Seward Meridian Parkway when he drove off the roadway, overcorrected, and the vehicle rolled. He was not wearing his seat belt at the time and was thrown from the vehicle. Medics transported him to Mat-Su Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. Troopers say that excessive speed was a factor in the crash.

Neither Johnson nor the driver of the vehicle were wearing seat belts when a car speeding down Nelson Lagoon Airstrip lost control and rolled multiple times. Johnson was ejected from the vehicle and killed, while the driver sustained minor injuries. Authorities say that alcohol was involved.

A driver was killed when their vehicle left the roadway, crashing into some trees and catching fire. Fire fighters were able to put out the blaze, but not in time to save the driver. The accident is still under investigation.

Thomas Tuthill Jr., 37-years-old was found underneath his vehicle that he had been thrown from. According to investigations, Tuthill Jr. had not been wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident. The investigators note the cause of the accident from Tuthill Jr. losing control of the car on a turn on Petersville Road in Trapper Creek. The vehicle resulted in veering off the road into trees where the car rolled down an embankment, overturned and onto Tuthill Jr.

Shortly before 10:00pm, Simmons was driving a sedan on Parks Highway when the car lost traction on an icy patch and rolled over. Simmons and two passengers were wearing seat belts and sustained non-life threatening injuries, but Haynes, who was not wearing a seat belt, died as a result of the crash.

A 26-year-old Willow woman died in a rollover crash on the Parks Highway early Saturday morning, Alaska State Troopers said. About 1:49 a.m., multiple people called troopers to report the crash, which occurred near mile 195 of the highway. A Cantwell-based trooper responded and found the driver and only occupant of the vehicle, who was identified as Brittany Hyatt of Willow, unresponsive.

Alaska State Troopers say a 32-year-old Mentasta man has died in a single-vehicle crash on the Old Richardson Highway. Charles David III was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash Thursday at Copper Center. Troopers say David was heading north near mile 105 of the highway when his Chevrolet Monte Carlo left the roadway and overturned. David was ejected. Troopers say it doesn't appear a seatbelt was used. Road conditions were dry at the time of the crash. The state medical examiner's office will conduct an autopsy.

Two people were injured Tuesday morning when a dump truck and minivan collided off state Route 18 and rolled into a ditch. The incident, which occurred at 6:20 a.m., caused hours of back-ups in the Issaquah area while the scene was cleaned up. Neither driver involved was wearing a seat belt. The truck, driven by a 23-year-old woman from Wasilla, Alaska, was traveling west on state Route 18 exiting to Issaquah Hobard Road. The minivan, driven by a 26-year-old Pacific man, was traveling west on Issaquah Hobard Road approaching the highway.
