Saturday, July 12, 2014Three people from Butler County were killed early Sunday morning in an accident near the Sedgwick-Butler county line.
Killed were Dominic Stolfi, 16, of Benton, who was driving a 2001 Ford Explorer pickup; Lisa Hardy, 27, the driver of a 2007 Buick Lucerne; and Nancy Ross, 52, a passenger in the Buick. Both women were from Potwin.

Monday, April 14, 2014Two women from Oklahoma who were killed in a fiery crash on the Kansas Turnpike in south Wichita on Tuesday night have been identified, according to the Kansas Turnpike Authority.
Lori Uchiyama, 38, of Blackwell and her passenger, 33-year-old Elizabeth Goodno of Ponca City, were driving north on the turnpike at about 9:15 p.m. Tuesday when their Pontiac G-6 was hit by a Ford F-150 south of the exit for 47th Street South. Uchiyama and Goodno died at the scene.
