Authorities in Baltimore County say a motorcycle driver from Pennsylvania is dead after a crash in Maryland. Officials say the crash happened around 2 p.m. Saturday in the area of Old York Road and Lentz Road in Parkton. Authorities say an initial investigation found the motorcycle was driving eastbound on Old York Road when it struck the back of a 2014 Ford Escort that had stopped to make a left turn. The motorcycle then traveled onto westbound Old York Road and was struck by a 2014 Honda CR-V.

A 54-year-old man was killed after the motorcycle he was riding struck a road median in Annapolis early Saturday, police said.

Just after midnight Saturday, Forrest Andrew Williams of Annapolis was driving on Green Holly Drive near Seabright Drive when he lost control of his motorcycle and was thrown from his bike, police said.

Police said alcohol and non-compliant headgear contributed to the crash.

A Westminster, Maryland, man died after crashing his motorcycle into a van in York County early Saturday. According to the York County Coroner's Office, Steven Miller, 64, died in the crash on Baltimore Pike, West Manheim Township, around 5:45 a.m. Saturday. Police are investigating the crash that occurred near the Maryland state line. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday morning, according to the coroner's office.

A motorcycle operator was killed Friday night in a collision on Interstate 83 near Ruxton Road, Maryland state police said.

About 8 p.m., a Suzuki GSXR motorcycle headed north on I-83 went out of control and struck the driver's side of a northbound Chevrolet Impala, according to police at the Golden Ring barrack, which responded. The motorcycle left the highway and struck a guardrail, throwing the rider off, police said.

A motorcyclist in a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 in Prince George’s County died Saturday evening, Maryland State Police said.

Jose Roberto Gomez, 35, of Baltimore, was headed southbound on I-95 near Route 212 about 7 p.m., when his Suzuki GSX-R 600 motorcycle struck a Volkswagen going in the same direction, police said. The Suzuki was traveling at a high rate of speed.

Gomez apparently lost control of the Suzuki and was ejected, police said. He landed on a travel portion of the highway and was then struck by a southbound tractor-trailer, police said.
