The Columbus Police are investigating a fatal crash Downtown early this morning. The crash happened at about 4:30 a.m. in a parking lot on the southwest side of the intersection at 4th and Capital streets, police said. One person died after being ejected from the vehicle, police said. The victim has not been identified. The crash remains under investigation.

Three people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash in Madison County Sunday afternoon. Madison Township fire crews responded to the 5000 block of Winchester Pike on the report of a crash at about 2:20 p.m. Sunday. Three people were transported to area hospitals in unknown conditions. Winchester Pike was closed while officials investigated, but has since been reopened.

The southbound lanes of I-270 have reopened between East Main and East Broad streets following a multi-vehicle crash.

The crash occurred shortly before 8:30 p.m., according to Columbus police. There were at least four vehicles involved in the crash.

One person was taken to an area hospital in stable condition.

The lanes reopened at about 10:30 p.m., according to police.

A 20-year-old Lancaster man has died after a crash Wednesday evening.

At about 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, troopers were called to a crash on Clearport Road south of Hamburg Road.

According to a report, 19-year-old Jacob L. Miller, of Lancaster, lost control of his vehicle while driving southbound on Clearport Road. The vehicle hit two trees.

Miller sustained minor injuries.

Miller's passenger, 20-year-old Dilon J. Uhl, was severely injured. Uhl was taken to a Columbus hospital by medical helicopter, where he died Thursday afternoon.

One man was killed and another was injured when they were ejected during a single-vehicle crash in Hardin County Wednesday morning. Findlay troopers are investigating the crash that occurred on County Road 20 in Liberty Township in Hardin County at approximately 8:10 a.m. Troopers said the vehicle was traveling westbound on C.R. 20 when the driver lost control on the ice-covered roadway. The vehicle is said to have traveled to the right side of the road, struck a utility pole and overturned.

One person is dead and another is injured after their vehicle crashed and overturned late Tuesday. According to the Fayette County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the 2000 block of Brock Road in Paint Township, at about 9:49 p.m. Tuesday, on the report of a crash. Deputies said, when they arrived on scene, they found a 2006 Ford F-Series pickup truck overturned in a streamline near the roadway.

A man was killed Monday night as a result of a crash on the far east side of Columbus. According to Columbus police, the crash happened shortly before 8:30 p.m. Monday along Brice Road near Tussing Road. According to investigators, 50-year-old Marcus A. Hughes, of Columbus, was trying to cross from the west side to the east side of Brice Road, when 57-year-old Gloria J. Hector, of Reynoldsburg, exited Interstate 70 eastbound and struck Hughes. Witnesses told police that Hughes was then struck by other vehicles, after the initial crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Three people were hospitalized after being involved in a crash on the city's far east side Sunday night.

Columbus police said the two-vehicle crash occurred in the 1800 block of Woodcrest Road at about 8 p.m.

Three people were transported to area hospitals with unknown conditions.

No charges were filed immediately.

One person was hospitalized after a five-vehicle crash in Westerville Sunday afternoon.

The crash occurred at Corporate Drive and Westerville Road near state Route 161 at about 4 p.m.

Westerville fire responded to the scene, where one man was extricated from his vehicle. He was transported to Riverside Methodist Hospital in stable condition.

Blendon Township police said several lanes of Westerville Road were closed during the investigation and cleanup. The lanes reopened at about 5:15 p.m.

A father was jailed after he drove away without talking to officers about running over his 4-year-old son who had fallen out of their van near a central Ohio construction site, fatally injuring the boy, according to the State Highway Patrol. Natividad de Jesus Hernandez, 30, of Columbus, was arrested Thursday after showing up at a hospital where his son, Angel Gustbabo Hernandez, died after the accident earlier in Union County, northwest of Columbus.
