Police: Oak Lawn Man Dead After Boating Accident Near Fox Lake

Suburban Man Killed in Fox Lake Boating Accident
The victim was taken to Centegra McHenry Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead, police said. He was later identified as 58-year-old Daniel G. Schwenk of Burbank, according to McHenry County Coroner Anne Majewski.
An Oak Lawn man died after a boating incident Monday in Pistakee Lake about 5 p.m. at a dock at a private residence on Marine Drive. The 58-year-old man had been boating with another man who went inside a nearby home after they tied up the vessel. When the other man returned to the dock, he found the victim floating facedown. The victim was transported to Centegra McHenry Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased. The cause of death is under investigation.
