Glenn Strunk, 55, seriously injured after his scooter crashes into a concrete ditch on U.S. 231 near Spencer, Indiana

Officials say a 55-year-old man was seriously injured Sunday when he crashed his scooter. Police say around 8 p.m. Sunday, they got a call that 55-year-old Glenn Strunk had been in a one vehicle accident on US 231 just north of Spencer. According to a report, Strunk’s scooter left the roadway and crashed into a concrete drainage ditch. Strunk is hospitalized with a severe head injury. The accident is still under investigation.
