New Orleans, LAA Jonesville man died early Sunday on Interstate 10 in St. James Parish when he was struck by a pickup truck as he stood in the median after the car he was riding in had crashed. The crash occurred when Andre Collins, 26, of Baton Rouge, was driving a Chrysler 200 west on I-10 when he crashed into the back of a sport utility vehicle driven by Jamie Resendiz, 23, of Richland, Mississippi. Collins’ passenger, Charles Branch Jr., 31, got out and walked onto the median.

Jacksonville, FLOne person sustained minor injuries in a six-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon on Interstate 10 at Mile Marker 360 in Duval County. According to the highway patrol the bad weather conditions, hydroplaning, crash debris in the roadway and some vehicles traveling too fast for conditions all were factors in the crash shortly before 2:30 p.m.
