Austin High School senior Ezra Polter died early Saturday when his SUV struck a guardrail and rolled on MoPac near 35th Street, throwing the teen from his SUV. Polter died from his injuries.

Police received a call just before 1:30 AM concerning a car accident at Loyola Lane and Millrace Drive. The driver crashed into a tree and the car then rolled over. A man was trapped inside the car and a woman was ejected from the vehicle. The woman was sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The man, identified as Andrew Ibarra, 22, was found dead at the site of the accident. The crash is under investigation. We will update this story with new details as they become available.

Raunfere Maruri-Nieto, 25, is dead after a rollover crash at Parkfield Drive and Kramer Lane early Saturday morning. Maruri-Nieto was travelling at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the vehicle and hit the curb in the 1400 block of Kramer Lane. The car rolled over, ejecting the driver. Emergency crew attempted CPR but the driver was pronounced dead at the scene, shortly after 1 a.m.

Philip Speer rolled his car at near the intersection of Cameron Road and East Anderson Lane. The impact of the crash caused a natural gas leak. Speer fled the scene on foot, his clothing reportedly "disarranged and soiled." He was arrested by Austin Police and admitted to being drunk. This is his fourth arrest for DUI.

Eleven people were injured after a five-vehicle collision on North Lamar Boulevard at 39 1/2 Street around 3:30 Saturday afternoon. Several EMS crews responded to the rollover accident. The first reports indicated at least one patient was trapped inside a vehicle. Additional paramedics responded to 39th Street and Medical Parkway for a report of another patient involved in the accident.
