Friends remember Austin High senior killed in MoPac crash

“I used to refer to Ezra as the most interesting boy in the world,” his close family friend Rob Glatz said.

Principal Says Austin High School Senior Killed in Crash

Principal Sandy Compian sent out a letter to Austin High School parents Saturday saying Polter was killed in the early morning crash. She said, "Ezra will be missed, and our prayers and heart-felt condolences go out to his family and loved ones. He was a warm, friendly, kind and beautiful person and special to all of us. He will always be loved and remembered."

"It's just so unfathomable to think about a friend losing his life like this," he said.  

Memorial held for AHS senior killed in Saturday crash

Debris from his car still lies scattered in the grass, but this new memorial shows how important Ezra was to people in his life and school.
Austin High School senior Ezra Polter died early Saturday when his SUV struck a guardrail and rolled on MoPac near 35th Street, throwing the teen from his SUV. Polter died from his injuries.

It is a real tragedy to loose such precious life at such young age. My prayers and thoughts go to his grieving family and friends. I work with his uncle Adam Polter I can definitely feel his pain at the loss. Be assured he is home with His creator ....
