One person is dead and two otherw were injured in a crash on Route 16 early Friday morning, police said.
The driver of a 2009 Ford Explorer, whom police have not identified, was killed, and two passengers were injured in the crash near the intersection of Cedar Ridge Road, police said. No other vehicles were involved.
According to the police report, the Explorer was traveling west on Route 16 when it apparently crossed over the center line and struck a stone wall and trees on the south side of the road.
One person was injured Friday morning when two semi-trucks and one or two other vehicles collided at Carroll and Miramar roads, where San Diego police blocked several lanes.
