Salisbury, MDA 63-year-old Snow Hill man was killed Wednesday when he crashed his car into an oncoming vehicle, police said.
It happened at about 6:30 p.m. According to the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office, Eltee Thomas Shockley Jr., was driving a 2005 Hyundai northbound on Lewis Road. He lost control of his vehicle while going around a curve in the road and struck an oncoming 2011 Chevrolet Traverse sideways. Shockley was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Salisbury, MDThe U.S. Naval Academy says a midshipman has died after a skateboarding accident last weekend.
Academy officials say 20-year-old Hans Loewen of Hampstead, N.C., died Saturday while in a coma at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with his family by his side.
Loewen was injured in a skateboarding accident March 22 while on a camping trip with other midshipmen at Assateague State Park. He was treated at the scene and then taken to the Baltimore trauma center.
