Cleveland-Akron, OHThe hospital identified the woman as Ann Myers. They did not release her age. Ann Myers, age currently unknown, was dining at the Washington Stree Diner with two other people at about 9:30 Monday morning when Thomas Herrick, 78, crashed through the front of the building. According to police, Herrick said he accidentally stepped on the gas pedal instead of the brake. Two other women were taken to Hillcrest hospital: one for a minor hand injury and another with an elevated heart rate.
