Detroit, MIThe car the woman was riding in lost control and hit an oncoming truck. The back part of the car where the woman was sleeping was sheared off in the collision. The driver fled but was later arrested. Alcohol, drugs or both are believed to be factors in the crash.The victim’s name hasn’t been released. Everyone else involved in the crash suffered minor injuries.

Detroit, MI16-year-old boy was killed and two other people were injured after the stolen car they were in hit a pole during a police chase early Monday morning on Detroit’s east side, according to Detroit police.
The crash came after a reported carjacking at 1:55 a.m. in the area of Van Dyke and Outer Drive. A police patrol saw the 1994 Dodge Duster shortly afterward, and a pursuit ensued, Sgt. Michael Woody with Detroit Police Department said.
