At about 1:00 pm, four vehicles that were westbound on I-90 stopped because of a separate accident on the highway. A sleepy driver is blamed for a single-car accident on Interstate 90 on Monday morning that injured a Cowiche couple. Edward A. Cella, 71, fell asleep and drifted to the left. When Cella awoke up, he overcorrected, causing his 2004 Toyota Matrix to roll over. Cella and his passenger, Carol A. Cella, 70, were taken to Overlake Medical Center in Bellevue. The State Patrol said it is recommending a second-degree negligent driving citation.
