Crash near Easton injures one

Both women were wearing seat belts and intoxicants were not a factor in the crash, the State Patrol said.

WSP said Smith was cited for driving too fast for the conditions. Easton Towing removed her 2003 Mitsubishi Galant, which was totaled in the crash.

At about 8:20pm a car driven by Jessica A. Smith, 28, with Wenner as a passenger was traveling eastbound on I-90 when Smith lost control of the vehicle and overcorrected, causing her to smash into a jersey barrier. Smith was uninjured in the wreck, and Wenner was injured but has already been treated and released from KVH hospital.
