Pine Forest High student Jaques Hill, 17, killed and three teens injured when their car is struck by an SUV in Pensacola, Florida

A Pine Forest High School student was killed around noon Wednesday in an accident in Escambia County. Jaques Hill, 17, was in a car with three friends when they were struck by an SUV at the intersection of Highway 29 and Kenmore Road. There were five people injured in the crash, and four teens were transported to local hospitals, where Hill was pronounced dead. Hill had recently moved to Pensacola from San Antonio, Texas.  

Evelyn Hawkins Bryant, 57, dies in head-on crash with 16-year-old driver in an accident involving a total of four cars near Blairs, Virginia

Evelyn Hawkins Bryant of Ringgold was killed in a 4-car crash at around 5:30 p.m. on Highway 29 near Blairs, Virginia. A Ford Explorer driven by the 16-year-old apparently drifted into the northbound lanes and hit two vehicles before striking Bryant's Toyota Camry head-on. The Danville teenager's condition is unknown, and the injuries of the other two drivers are believed to be minor. The two other drivers injured have been identified as Nicole Gibson, 37, and Breesha Jones, 22.
