Witnesses say he reached up to 70 mph. The joyride ended when the ambulance crashed into a fence. Golightly attempted to flee the scene, but a witness was able to direct officers to him. He was taken into custody, with his bond set at $20,000.

Dallas-Ft. Worth, TXTom Davies, who lives in the area of the wreck, spotted the car on Tuesday afternoon in an empty field where Bryant Irvin Road and Dirks Road intersect. The man alerted a passing police officer, but it was not until hours later that the bodies of Lindsay Groce, 27, and Hailey Gardner, 13 months, were found about 200 yards away. The woman was naked and on top of the body of the child. Damage to the wrecked car was extensive, but authorities in Fort Worth are offering few details and have not confirmed if the crash and the bodies are related.
