Borough councilman Jerome Koch is in critical condition after he was hit by a car while riding his bicycle on Saturday afternoon on River Road near Elm Place when he swerved into the road and was struck. Koch was airlifted to the trauma unit at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. Koch was riding his bike around town and picking up litter. The driver who hit Koch had her daughter in the car. Check back for updates on Mr. Koch's condition as they become available.

The names of two men who died in a crash in Daviess County, KY have been released. Adam W. Andrews, 30, of Owensboro was the driver and William L. Duncan, 25, of Owensboro was the passenger. The accident happened just before 11:00 p.m. Tuesday in the 1900 block of River Road. Authorities say the truck carrying the men went off the road, hit an embankment and went airborne before crashing into a tree. Duncan was thrown from the truck.

49-year-old Richard King, of Belfast, received only a minor injury after the Linda Bean's Maine lobster truck he was driving overturned on River Road Sunday afternoon in Cushing, Maine. The accident occured around 3:10 p.m. on October 26, 2014 when the truck, carrying 100 crates of lobsters, failed to negotiate a left-hand curve and rolled. The lobsters were unharmed, as was King, who received only a small cut to his face.  Take these important steps after a truck accident:

A rollover crash involving two vehicles on Tucson's north side has temporarily closed westbound River Road and southbound Hacienda Del Sol Road. One of the vehicles rolled over in the intersection. One person suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital.

An undercover Cincinnati police officer was injured in a traffic accident that took place about 3:30 p.m. Monday afternoon in Riverside. The crash took place near the intersection of River Road and Fenimore Streets. The officer was driving a black Dodge Charger in the area, searching for a wanted fugitive.

The woman killed after being hit by a vehicle on River Road has been identified. Amanda Broughton, 33, of Louisville, died of multiple blunt force injuries at University of Louisville Hospital. Alicia Smiley, a Louisville Metro police spokeswoman, said Broughton was hit by a Ford minivan that was headed northbound on River Road at Mockingbird Valley Road around 10:10 p.m. Aug. 19.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, AR -- A teenager has died in a single vehicle accident. Cody L. Farley, 17, died in the Sunday evening crash. It happened around 6:30 near River Rd., just outside of Redfield. Farley, who was a passenger in the backseat, was thrown out of the vehicle. He was unresponsive when emergency crews arrived and immediately taken to Jefferson Regional Medical Center, where he later died. The driver was identified as William Cook, 26. His sister, Kimberly Cook was also in the vehicle.

A pedestrian died after he was hit by a car in a Puyallup crosswalk Thursday. Officials have identified the man as Christopher Kerns, 42. from Federal Way. It appeared the driver failed to stop at a red light about 7 p.m. on River Road while heading south on North Meridian, hitting an employee of a nearby Ford dealership in the crosswalk. It looked like the Lexus traveled a “considerable distance” down the road with the pedestrian on the hood of the car, jumping up and over a curb, hitting a sign and then four vehicles. Investigators had not yet determined what caused the crash.

A LaPlace teenager died in an ATV accident Friday night after he crashed into a parked all-terrain vehicle carrying a pair of youths who had trespassed onto private property north of River Road in Destrehan, authorities said. The impact from the crash caused both the teenager, 15-year-old Trent Torres, and the ATV to be thrown into a wooded area, causing the fatal injuries. Deputies found alcohol and about a dozen teenagers when they arrived at the property owned by BP, after getting a call around 11:49 p.m., said a spokesman for the St. Charles Sheriff's Department.
