Two people were killed and another was seriously injured after the Volkswagen they were traveling in left the roadway and struck a tree. Two were declared dead at the scene: Kayla Stephenson, 19, and Chelsea Calvert, 22. Passenger Kachina McCall was taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital in unknown condition.

Michael Bagwell was riding his motorcycle just after 8:30 p.m. on Rutherford Road when another vehicle turned off of Stalings Road and they collided. Bagwell was taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital where he underwent surgery. He died two days later from his injuries.

Benson Blakeley of Conestee was driving a 1990 Mercedes when it collided with another car at the intersection of Verdae Boulevard and Salters Road at 4:20 p.m. Saturday. Blakeley was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident and was taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital, where he died of his injuries Saturday night.

A Simpsonville man was killed Friday night near midnight after the SUV he was in crashed with a state Highway Patrol car. Taylor Heathman Miller, 22, was the passenger of a Nissan Xterra when it collided with a patrol vehicle at the intersection of North Pleasantburg Drive and Rutherford Road. Miller was taken to the trauma center at Greenville Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased at 5:21 p.m. The Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash to determine the cause.

A.V. Justice, 82, of Shelby, North Carolina was killed in a car accident on the State 291 portion of Augusta Road South near Greenville, SC, when his Honda collided with a Ford, driven by a 30-year-old Felipe Domingo, that was traveling the wrong direction.  The 30 year old Greenville man was not wearing a seat belt and crashed head on into Justice, who was wearing a seatbelt.

Police are investigating a fatal car accident near Greenville. Troopers said it happened at 4:38 Saturday morning at the intersection of White Horse Road and Augusta Road.

Authorities were searching Monday night for a late 1990s black-over-silver Lexus LS-400 sedan that might have been involved in a hit-and-run accident that killed 16-year-old Isaiah James McGuiness. McGuiness was walking on U.S. 25 near the intersection of Lily Street when he was hit by at least one vehicle about 5:10 a.m. Monday. It is believed the victim was hit by several vehicles that fled the scene.

It appears that Livingston was swerving to avoid hitting another vehicle, but then lost control of his SUV and crashed into the truck. The man died after being transported to Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Jerome Bradley, 55, was trying to cross six-lane Wade Hampton Boulevard just outside the city of Greenville Tuesday night was struck and killed by a vehicle and died at the scene. Bradley was crossing the highway near Rushmore Drive when he walked in front of a Ford SUV at 9:14 p.m.

Wilson was taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital, where he died early Tuesday morning. Police are investigating the accident and the cause of death was is pending.
