Crash kills Conestee man

Blakeley’s death has been ruled accidental, according to the deputy coroner.
Benson Blakeley of Conestee was driving a 1990 Mercedes when it collided with another car at the intersection of Verdae Boulevard and Salters Road at 4:20 p.m. Saturday. Blakeley was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident and was taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital, where he died of his injuries Saturday night.
