Sunday, February 16, 2014The driver of the blue Ford Explorer that crashed into a Lake Worth home this morning is in a local hospital and is facing criminal charges, according to a Palm Beach County sheriff’s spokeswoman.
Deputies suspect the man, whose name was not released, was impaired at the time of the crash. He also did not have a license.
The crash happened around 7:15 a.m. in the 500 block of South C Street, just east of Interstate 95 and just north of Sixth Avenue South.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue crews and Palm Beach County sheriff’s deputies were called to the scene.
