63-year-old driver of a motorcycle died in a crash involving two other cars. The 7-year-old girl riding with him was injured, the extent of her injuries are not known. Both were wearing a helmet. The crash happened Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. on Main and Ewing Streets. One of the vehicles was a Chevrolet Cruze driven by Allie Wright, 20. She was also injured in the crash.

Two people died Sunday afternoon in a fatal crash on U.S. Route 22 in Fairfield County. Troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle head-on crash on U.S. 22 east of state Route 159 just outside Lancaster at about 2:40 p.m. Sunday. According to officers, a man, identified as Robert Kaelbli, 77, was driving a silver Toyota Camry, westbound on U.S. 22, crossed the center line and collided with a black Honda Civic with two female occupants that was headed eastbound.

Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers have reopened state Route 37 between Rainbow Drive and Coonpath Road in Lancaster following a multiple vehicle crash Friday morning.

Troopers responded to the scene of the crash at about 6:47 a.m. Friday. There were eight vehicles involved.

Six people were transported to area hospitals in unknown conditions.

Multiple firefighters are hospitalized after they are involved in a crash while responding to an emergency run.

According to the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the area of Coonpath Road and Old Millersport Road, on the report of a crash involving a fire vehicle at about 8:33 a.m. Saturday.

Deputies say a fire truck responded to a crash, lost control, rolled over and struck a utility pole.

Three firefighters have been transported to an area hospital with, what deputies said, appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.

A 20-year-old Lancaster man has died after a crash Wednesday evening.

At about 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, troopers were called to a crash on Clearport Road south of Hamburg Road.

According to a report, 19-year-old Jacob L. Miller, of Lancaster, lost control of his vehicle while driving southbound on Clearport Road. The vehicle hit two trees.

Miller sustained minor injuries.

Miller's passenger, 20-year-old Dilon J. Uhl, was severely injured. Uhl was taken to a Columbus hospital by medical helicopter, where he died Thursday afternoon.
