Las Vegas, NVLas Vegas police are looking for a white company truck involved in a Tuesday morning three-way collision with a moped and a pedestrian in a wheelchair.
Police responded about 8:45 a.m. to the accident near Boulder Highway and Russell Road. The pedestrian was transported to University Medical Center with noncritical injuries, according to police.
Police would not say how the third vehicle, a moped, was involved in the accident.
The truck, which had green lettering on the side, fled the scene.

Orange County, CAParents of an Orange County teenager who was seriously hurt in a hit-and-run announced Wednesday they are offering a reward to help find the person behind the wheel. Stephen Cureton, 17, was walking with a friend near Yorktown Avenue and Beach Boulevard in Huntington Beach about 8:30 p.m. Monday when he was struck by a car and thrown 40 feet, his parents said. "To launch his body about 40 feet, have him hit the pavement at the impact that it did and then just leave him there ... I am just appalled that someone would consider my son disposable," said the teen's mother, Victoria Cureton.

Saturday, February 8, 2014Police are looking for a driver who struck and killed a 15-year-old boy and fled the scene in Fort Lauderdale Sunday.
The crash happened just after 1 a.m. in the 2700 block of West Broward Boulevard as the pedestrian, Justin Flowers, was crossing the street, Fort Lauderdale Police said.
According to police, an older model Jeep Cherokee changed lanes and struck Flowers, who was thrown to the ground. He was rushed to Broward Health Medical Center where he later died.

St. Louis, MOA 50-year-old man is dead after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run wreck in Kirkwood on Sunday night. Authorities say they were called to the 400 block of N. Kirkwood Rd., just south of Bodley, and found the victim laying in the street. He was transported to Mercy Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Additional information regarding the victim was not immediately available. Police say they are still trying to locate the vehicle involved.

Las Vegas, NVNevada Highway Patrol is investigating a two-car crash that left one person in critical condition and a suspect on the run Saturday evening.
A N.H.P. trooper said the crash happened near I-15 and Blue Diamond Road around 5:30 p.m when pick-up truck crashed into an car. The driver of the pick-up fled the scene on foot, police said.
The driver of the car was airlifted to University Medical Center and is listed in critical condition.

Thursday, February 6, 2014A man trying to cross Highway 101 on foot was struck by a car and killed late Friday night in San Jose, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The victim, Christopher Codee Tarsky, 20, of Santa Cruz, was in the southbound lane south of North First Street, walking from the median toward the right shoulder. As cars swerved to avoid him, he began running. He ran into the path of a Honda Accord, landing in a right lane. As the Honda pulled to the shoulder, a sport-utility vehicle struck the man and did not stop. A second SUV also hit Tarsky, left the freeway but returned.

Los Angeles, CADetectives have released a photo of a person of interest in the hit-and-run crash in Watts that left a 19-year-old man dead.
Authorities said a black 2013 Chevrolet Camaro was traveling at approximately 80-100 mph on a residential street when the vehicle hit a dip in the road, went airborne and struck Jerry Arredondo at 105th Street and Wadsworth Avenue at about 7:20 p.m. Tuesday.
The teen was thrown straight into a nearby tree, which split in two. Arredondo was pronounced dead at the scene.

Boston, MAA man was struck and killed Tuesday night in a hit-and-run crash on Dorchester Avenue, according to Boston Police.
The accident occurred at around 8:04 p.m. at 1485 Dorchester Ave., a Boston police spokeswoman said. The victim was taken to Boston Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The man’s name and age were not immediately available.
Police are looking for the driver and the car, which was described as either a Nissan Maxima or Toyota Camry, police said.

Monday, February 3, 2014The driver who struck and seriously injured a pedestrian near San Francisco City Hall this morning fled the scene of the crash and remains at large, police said.
Emergency personnel responded to the crash at Van Ness Avenue and Grove Street just before 2:30 a.m. and found the pedestrian, a man in his 50s, suffering from life-threatening injuries, a San Francisco police Sgt. said.
The man was taken to San Francisco General Hospital in critical condition.
Benjamin Ramirez, 23, struck and killed by hit-and-run driver while walking in Escondido, California

San Diego, CAA 23-year-old man was killed Monday night in a hit-and-run crash just east of Escondido.
The victim, identified as Benjamin Ramirez of Escondido, was walking on Bear Valley Parkway near Boyle Avenue about 10:15 p.m. when he was struck by a white box truck, a California Highway Patrol Officer said.
Witnesses said the driver in the truck slowed down for a moment and then drove away.
Ramirez was taken to Palomar Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 10:44 p.m., officials with the Medical Examiner’s Office said.
