A single-vehicle crash in Milwaukee killed a 19-year-old male driver and injured the 11-year-old boy, passenger Sunday morning. The accident occurred at about 7:15 a.m. on N. 36th Street. The vehicle veered off the roadway at a high speed and smashed into a tree. The accident killed the driver and the 11-year-old boy was brought to the hospital in critical condition.

A Milwaukee man, 40, was killed in a crash Friday afternoon at 60th Street and Villard Avenue. Witnesses told police that a car traveling northbound on North 60th Street at a high rate of speed, didn't stop at the stop signal at Villard Avenue. They said the driver crossed the center lane and struck the center lane light pole. The car then struck the front end of a school bus. The car then flipped over and stopped. Police said the driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. No children were on the bus, but the 68-year-old bus driver was injured, police said.
