Police say the vehicle, an older model Chevy, continued northbound on N. 27th Street at “a very high rate of speed.” As the vehicle neared Capitol Drive, it struck another vehicle and a concrete light pole.
A rear passenger — a male in his late teens or early 20s died at the scene.
