Albert Smith Jr., 58, was found lying dead in the southbound lane of the 1200 block of Martin Luther King Boulevared in Greenville after he was struck by a vehicle. According to the Greenville police, the hit-and-run accident happened around 8:43 p.m. last Saturday.

Man, 58, suffers broken arm after struck by hit-and-run driver on Genesee Street in Cheektowaga, NY

Around 3:21 a.m. a 58-year-old man was struck by a vehicle on on Genesee Street, breaking his arm. Police believe the vehicle was a 2003 to 2006 Chevrolet Silverado or a 2003 to 2006 GMC Sierra pickup, maroon/red in color, possibly with the passenger side mirror broken or completely broken off. Anyone who witnessed the accident or has seen a vehicle matching the description is asked to contact the Accident Investigation Unit at 686-3580.

25-year-old man injured after being struck by train near Anderson Road in Crescent Springs, KY

A 25-year-old male was medevac'ed after being hit by a train. The man was hit on the railroad tracks behind Irene's Little Bar near Anderson Road in Crescent Springs around 2 a.m. Saturday. The accident remains under investigation by police. At this time, they do not know if alcohal is involved and are not releasing the name of the man. One person struck and killed by Amtrak train near near Stadium Drive and North Collins Street in Arlington, Texas

A person who was walking on the tracks near Stadium Drive and North Collins Street in Arlington around 3 p.m. Wednesday afternoon was struck and killed by a passing Amtrak train. The scene was near Johnson Creek, about a half mile south of AT&T Stadium. Few details are available at this time; check back for updates.

Carlos Segovia Solis, 24, killed by Amtrak train while walking on tracks near Buckner Road in Dallas, Texas

A Union Pacific Railroad spokesperson said the Amtrak train sounded a warning signal as it approached the victim from behind. But the 24-year-old man, Carlos Segovia Solis, who investigators said they believe was wearing headphones, didn’t move off the tracks near Buckner road. 

 

 

Cameron Lee, 16, dies after being struck by Caltrain in apparent suicide in Palo Alto, California

Gunn High School student Cameron Lee, 16, died after he was hit by a train south of the California Avenue station about 1 a.m. in Palo Alto. The death appears to have been a suicide. 

Pedestrian Claudia Reed, 56, hit on Route 66 in Middlefield, Connecticut

Reed was hit by a car driven by Jackie Cunningham, 59, on Route 66 Monday night in Middlefield, Connecticut. The incident occured around 10:27 p.m. on October 27, 2014. Reed sustained injuries to lower extremities as well as suffered head trauma. Cunningham has been charged with DUI after failing a field sobriety test.

Woman dies after being hit by a car on Indian Head Highway in Accokeek, Maryland

A woman has died in Prince George's County Monday morning after being hit by a car on Indian Head Highway, near Berry Road, in Accokeek, Maryland. The driver stayed at the scene to cooperate with police. The woman died at the scene; her name has not been released.
