24-year-old man struck, killed Tuesday by Amtrak train in Buckner Terrace
A man struck and killed by an Amtrak train Tuesday afternoon has been identified as 24-year-old Carlos Segovia Solis of Dallas.
A Union Pacific Railroad spokesperson said the Amtrak train sounded a warning signal as it approached the victim from behind. But the 24-year-old man, Carlos Segovia Solis, who investigators said they believe was wearing headphones, didn’t move off the tracks near Buckner road.
