Wednesday, June 10, 2015Craig Jeffers was riding a moped on Highway 22 in Myrtle Beach when another vehicle struck him from behind. He was taken to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center where he died from his injuries. He was a recent graduate of William Monroe High School in Greene County.

Monday, September 15, 2014Carl Davis Simpson, 47, of Little River, has been identified as the man who was found dead on the side of Highway 90 Monday morning following a hit and run accident, and the South Carolina Highway Patrol is seeking information from the public to find the vehicle that struck and killed him. The hit and run happened sometime after 8 p.m. on Sunday on S.C. 90 about 1 mile north of Nixon's Crossroads.
