Tyrese O. Blathers has been charged with Hit and Run Involving Death, according to to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Carl Davis Simpson, 47, of Little River, has been identified as the man who was found dead on the side of Highway 90 Monday morning following a hit and run accident, and the South Carolina Highway Patrol is seeking information from the public to find the vehicle that struck and killed him. The hit and run happened sometime after 8 p.m. on Sunday on S.C. 90 about 1 mile north of Nixon's Crossroads.
