Two people were riding in a car on Deer Valley Road at Interstate 17 when the vehicle left the road and crashed. The two men were ejected from the vehicle during the crash. When emergency crews arrived they found the car on fire. The southbound off-ramp of Interstate 17 at Deer Valley Road was closed after the accident. Police believe that excessive speed and alcohol were likely involved in this accident.
Three men were riding in a speeding pickup on 91st Avenue when the driver swerved to avoid hitting another vehicle. The truck left the road, landing upside down in the nearby canal. All three men were ejected from the truck in the crash and died. Police are unsure if drugs or alcohol were involved in this crash.
