Charleston, SC2-year-old Hunter Grant was in a car being driven by his mother when she allegedly crossed into oncoming traffic on Highway 78 and collided head-on with another vehicle at about 11:55 p.m. Investigators believe that Grant was not properly restrained in a car seat, and that his mother may have been under the influence of alcohol. We will add more details to this story as investigation continues and information is released.

Charleston, SCA 1998 Saturn four-door and a 2006 Chrysler minivan collided head-on, killing one and injuring six more. Five of the injured people are reported to be juveniles. The driver of the Saturn was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene. Sharrice Barnes was driving the Chrysler and was hospitalized, though it is not known how severe the injuries are. The five juveniles were riding in Chrysler with her and were also hospitalized.

Charleston, SCTwo people were killed in a head-on crash on I-26 near Ridgeville, Dorchester County, on Friday morning. The crash happened at about 2:40 a.m. on I-26 West when a Mitsubishi heading east in the westbound lane struck a Mazda traveling west in the westbound lane head-on. Both drivers were killed.
