In the early hours of Sunday, September 15, 2024, a fatal collision occurred at the intersection of Morgan Road and Cobblestone Court in the Town of Binghamton. The incident involved two vehicles: a Honda sedan driven by James Macdowall, 26, of Binghamton, and a U-Haul truck operated by Cody Diffendorf, 20, of Kirkwood. Tragically, Charles Burrell Jr., 29, of Conklin, a passenger in the Honda, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
