A 90-year-old woman who was a passenger in a car that was struck by a truck in midtown last month died Tuesday. Dorothy Hill died of complications from her injuries in the March 13 crash that occurred shortly before 11:30 a.m. at East Speedway and North Catalina Avenue, just east of North Columbus Boulevard, said Sgt. Chris Widmer, a Tucson Police Department spokesman. A 60-year-old man was driving the 1983 Chevrolet truck north on Catalina, and failed to yield from the stop sign at Speedway, causing the crash with a 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser that was traveling west on Speedway, Widmer said.
