An early morning crash tossed an 11-year-old boy into a windshield and sent him to the hospital Tuesday. Shortly before 7:30 a.m., Worcester police responded to the area of 86 Lafayette St. for a motor vehicle accident with injury. When they arrived, they found paramedics working to stabilize an 11-year-old boy who was a passenger in a truck involved in the accident, according to a release from the Worcester Police Department.

A 7-year-old girl was taken to the hospital Tuesday after being struck by an SUV on Country Club Boulevard in Worcester. Police responded to the area of 49 Country Club Blvd. around 3 p.m. Wednesday after a report of a pedestrian accident, according to a Worcester Police Department press release. When they arrived, they found a 7-year-old girl had been hit by an SUV. She was taken to a local hospital where she is currently listed in stable condition, according to police.

The city's accident reconstruction team is investigating a Vernon Street accident that sent a 34-year-old male pedestrian to the hospital. Police are investigating the 11:15 p.m. accident near 3 Vernon St. Sunday, according to a release from the department. The man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. According to police, the 25-year-old woman driving the car was heading towards the ramp to Interstate 290 when the accident occurred. The woman immediately stopped her vehicle, while a witness called 911.
