Northbound lanes of Interstate 5 in Woodland reopened after a fatal crash early this morning involving a tractor-trailer and a pedestrian. The crash was reported at 2:09 a.m. when Phillip Reich, the 47-year-old Covington man driving the big rig called to report that he had hit someone. The tractor-trailer driver told investigators that he was driving in the right lane, saw reflection of taillights on the right shoulder and moved to the center lane and struck something.
