Eric Bond, 50, was traveling north on State Highway 97 at 81st Street South when his vehicle exited the roadway, struck a median, and rolled multiple times. Bond was ejected about 75 feet from the truck. According to authorities, Bond was not wearing a seat belt. The cause of the crash is under investigation.

Glenda Alexander of Drumright was eastbound in a 2003 Chevy Blazer when she went off of Highway 16 then back onto the roadway before going off again, this time striking a tree. Alexander was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the SUV, killing her. The accident happened at about 9 p.m. Tuesday.

April Souza, 31, was killed and her 7-month old passenger had minor injuries in single-car accident on Alternate 75, near 221st Street south of Mounds, Oklahoma. The crash occurred as Souza was headed north, crossed the center, overcorrected, and recorrected too hard, flipping her car and throwing her far from the vehicle. Neither Souza, nor the child were properly restrained.

A Louisiana man died Monday after a head-on collision in Creek County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported. About 5:55 a.m., Tilman Palmer, 76, of Amite City, La., was driving a pickup southbound on State Highway 48 just south of Carson Ridge Road. A northbound pickup, driven by Russell Foutch, 47, of Cushing, crossed the center line and hit Palmer’s pickup, troopers said. Palmer died at the scene. Foutch was taken to a Tulsa hospital in serious condition. Neither man wore seat belts, troopers said.

A fatal crash occurred Wednesday night in Creek County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports. Arlie Clint Cates, 49, of Bristow, died from injuries suffered in a crash about 11:45 p.m. on State Highway 66 just west of W 271 Street, the patrol reports. Cates died in a Sapulpa hospital after the crash. Passenger Davied Van Orsdol, 49, of Bristow, was taken to a Tulsa hospital where he was treated for a back injury. Seat belts were not in use. Cates was driving east on SH 66 when he drove off the roadway. Cates and Orsdol were ejected.
