Tilman Palmer, 76, killed, Russell Foutch, 47, seriously injured, transported to hospital, after their two pickups collide head-on near Sapulpa on State Highway 48

A Louisiana man died Monday after a head-on collision in Creek County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported. About 5:55 a.m., Tilman Palmer, 76, of Amite City, La., was driving a pickup southbound on State Highway 48 just south of Carson Ridge Road. A northbound pickup, driven by Russell Foutch, 47, of Cushing, crossed the center line and hit Palmer’s pickup, troopers said. Palmer died at the scene. Foutch was taken to a Tulsa hospital in serious condition. Neither man wore seat belts, troopers said.
