Charleston, SCA 1998 Saturn four-door and a 2006 Chrysler minivan collided head-on, killing one and injuring six more. Five of the injured people are reported to be juveniles. The driver of the Saturn was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene. Sharrice Barnes was driving the Chrysler and was hospitalized, though it is not known how severe the injuries are. The five juveniles were riding in Chrysler with her and were also hospitalized.

Charleston, SCTwo people were killed in a head-on crash on I-26 near Ridgeville, Dorchester County, on Friday morning. The crash happened at about 2:40 a.m. on I-26 West when a Mitsubishi heading east in the westbound lane struck a Mazda traveling west in the westbound lane head-on. Both drivers were killed.

Charleston, SCThe South Carolina Highway Patrol says a man was hit and killed by a vehicle on Ladson Road Friday night. The pedestrian was identified as Daral Brown of Summerville who died of blunt force trauma to the head and body and multiple fractures. Troopers say around 8:40 p.m. Friday night, a 2003 Ford was driving on Ladson Road, when the vehicle hit Brown in the road. Authorities say no charges have filed in this case.
