Just before 11 p.m. Sunday in the northbound lanes of State Road 429 near State Road 414, a Ford Expedition carrying three teens left the roadway and rolled several times, ejecting 16-year-old Jasmine Tena. She was the struck by a vehicle that left the scene. The driver of the Expedition, Teodora Llanas, Jr., 19, and another passenger, Demetrio Rangel, 19, both of Apopka, were transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center. Both are expected to survive.

14-year-old Lily Rhodes was riding on ATV with three friends at a birthday party when something, possibly a hole in the terrain, caused the vehicle to flip and eject all occupants. Of those involved, Rhodes sustained the worst injuries and had to have most of her arm amputated, though she should make a good recovery otherwise. One other girl on the ATV also had some serious injuries, and remains in the hospital with a broken vertebrae. What personal injury victims need to know:

The 17-year-old boy was driving at a high rate of speed southbound on Route 340 at about 2:25 a.m. Tuesday when he lost control of his car, struck a sign, overturned into an embankment, and was ejected from the car. According to Virginia State Police, the boy was was not wearing a seat belt and died at the scene. We'll update this post as new details emerge.

At about 2:20pm, Rector was exiting a Mobil gas station onto Adams street, but failed to yield to a westbound car on the road, which struck her car on the driver's side. The collision seriously injured both Rector and Mulders, who was a passenger in her vehicle, and Rector was airlifted to a hospital. The driver of the westbound car, identified as Tiffany DeRoo, 20, was hospitalized with minor injuries, and the three passengers in her car, which included two children aged 3 and 5, sustained minor injuries but were not hospitalized.
