A.V. Justice, 82, of Shelby, North Carolina was killed in a car accident on the State 291 portion of Augusta Road South near Greenville, SC, when his Honda collided with a Ford, driven by a 30-year-old Felipe Domingo, that was traveling the wrong direction.  The 30 year old Greenville man was not wearing a seat belt and crashed head on into Justice, who was wearing a seatbelt.

Authorities were searching Monday night for a late 1990s black-over-silver Lexus LS-400 sedan that might have been involved in a hit-and-run accident that killed 16-year-old Isaiah James McGuiness. McGuiness was walking on U.S. 25 near the intersection of Lily Street when he was hit by at least one vehicle about 5:10 a.m. Monday. It is believed the victim was hit by several vehicles that fled the scene.

Jerome Bradley, 55, was trying to cross six-lane Wade Hampton Boulevard just outside the city of Greenville Tuesday night was struck and killed by a vehicle and died at the scene. Bradley was crossing the highway near Rushmore Drive when he walked in front of a Ford SUV at 9:14 p.m.

Wilson was taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital, where he died early Tuesday morning. Police are investigating the accident and the cause of death was is pending.

The victim in a wreck early Thursday morning was trying to cross Augusta Road on foot when he was struck by a Greenville County Sheriff's deputy, authorities said. The wreck is being treated as two separate collisions, he said. The deputy struck the pedestrian and then two other cars collided after the initial wreck. Peaches Butler glanced out her apartment window when she saw flashing lights just after 5:35 a.m. At once, she feared the worst. "They needed that light here," Butler said. "I bet you they'll put a light in now. I think if a light had been here...a light slows everybody down."

A motorcyclist and a pedestrian that died in an accident in Friday have been identified, according to the Greenville County Coroner.

The pedestrian who was attempting to cross Easley Bridge road at the intersection of Third Avenue when he was struck by a motorycle traveling west-bound on Easley Bridge Road, said Greenville County coroner Parks Evans.

According to the Evans, the pedestrian was identified as William Gentry, 45, of Greenville. The driver of the motorcycle was identified as Thomas Vento, of Greenville.

A 60-year-old man is dead after he stepped into a highway, according to the Greenville County coroner.

The coroner stated that James Melvin stepped into Highway 253 at 10 p.m. Wednesday and was hit by a Ford Expedition.

This happened near Leone Avenue, the coroner said.
