Coroner: Motorcyclist, pedestrian killed in accident identified

The pedestrian who was attempting to cross Easley Bridge road at the intersection of Third Avenue when he was struck by a motorycle traveling west-bound on Easley Bridge Road, said Greenville County coroner Parks Evans.

A motorcyclist and a pedestrian that died in an accident in Friday have been identified, according to the Greenville County Coroner.

The pedestrian who was attempting to cross Easley Bridge road at the intersection of Third Avenue when he was struck by a motorycle traveling west-bound on Easley Bridge Road, said Greenville County coroner Parks Evans.

According to the Evans, the pedestrian was identified as William Gentry, 45, of Greenville. The driver of the motorcycle was identified as Thomas Vento, of Greenville.

Both me were pronounced dead at the scene, said the Evans.

According to the Evans, the accident is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
