Columbus, GAOn Sunday afternoon, 20-year-old Valley resident Jacob Craft was driving a Ford Bronco when the SUV left the road and struck a culvert and then a tree. Passenger Brian Keith Lee, 21, of Cusseta, was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle, killing him. Craft and a second passenger were injured, though the extent of their injuries was not released. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have not yet released any additional details surrounding the crash.

Columbus, GATwo cars collided head-on just south of Beauregard High School on Highway 51, sending five people to the hospital. The extent of their injuries is currently unknown. Four were taken to East Alabama Medical Center, and one was airlifted to Midtown Medical Center. Check back for more details.
