20-year-old Jacob Craft, of Valley, and another passenger in the vehicle were also injured. The crash happened at 2:00pm Sunday May 24th. It happened on Lee County 158 just four miles east of Opelika.
On Sunday afternoon, 20-year-old Valley resident Jacob Craft was driving a Ford Bronco when the SUV left the road and struck a culvert and then a tree. Passenger Brian Keith Lee, 21, of Cusseta, was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle, killing him. Craft and a second passenger were injured, though the extent of their injuries was not released. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have not yet released any additional details surrounding the crash.
