The accident occurred about 12:40 p.m. Thursday on Highway 101 south of Hollands Lane near Willits, when a 75-year-old Sebastopol man headed south in a Toyota Camry crossed into oncoming traffic for an unknown reason and slammed into a northbound 2010 Toyota Prius driven by an 89-year-old woman. The drivers of both vehicles, as well as a 62-year-old passenger in the Prius, all died at the scene, the CHP said. Another vehicle driven by Stephen Delatorre, 21, of Kelseyville, hit the rear of the Prius after it came to rest. Delatorre was not injured.

An 18-year-old man who was killed a week ago in a vehicle crash near Willits has been identified as Lawrence A. Warden Jr. of Ukiah, the CHP stated Wednesday. The teen was in the front passenger seat of a 2010 Toyota Sequoia heading north on Eastside Road. The Mendocino County Coroner's Office on Wednesday identified the woman killed Sunday in a fatal crash near Cleone as Kymberly Greenlees, 49, of Fort Bragg.

She was driving a 2001 Volvo on Highway 1 north of Cleone at 40 to 45 mph when her car veered across the double yellow lines into the path of an oncoming southbound car, according to a press release issued by the Ukiah CHP. The head-on crash with a 2000 Ford occurred about 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

Officer Kylar Adams said it's not clear why Greenlees' vehicle veered out of her lane. The CHP has found no witnesses so far.
