The Mendocino County Coroner's Office on Wednesday identified the woman killed Sunday in a fatal crash near Cleone as Kymberly Greenlees, 49, of Fort Bragg.

She was driving a 2001 Volvo on Highway 1 north of Cleone at 40 to 45 mph when her car veered across the double yellow lines into the path of an oncoming southbound car, according to a press release issued by the Ukiah CHP. The head-on crash with a 2000 Ford occurred about 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

Officer Kylar Adams said it's not clear why Greenlees' vehicle veered out of her lane. The CHP has found no witnesses so far.

The coroner has not yet determined the cause of Greenlees' death. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
