Monday, April 6, 2015At around 9:15pm, Christopher Liby, 32, was riding a motorcycle north on Highway 99 at a high rate of speed, when he ran into the side of another northbound vehicle. This caused both Liby and his passenger Rebekah Rose London, 21, to be ejected from the bike. London was then run over by several passing vehicles, and was killed. Liby was hospitalized with moderate injuries, and is suspected of driving under the influence.

Portland, ORIt was just after 10:00am when Childress was driving on westbound Highway 99, and crossed over the center line where he hit a dump truck driven by Raul Gutierrez-Torres, 43, he then exited the roadway to the right and his car came to rest upside-down in a ditch. Childress was not wearing a seat belt and ended up partially ejected from the vehicle; he was pronounced dead at the scene. Christine Schneible, 32, a passenger in Childress' car, sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized. Gutierrez-Torres was uninjured.

Fresno-Visalia, CAOmar Jason Spencer and Halyma Beana Alzanbaai, 22 also known as Venita Patsy Jackson, were speeding on Highway 99 near Madera in a stolen BMW when they crashed into the back of a big-rig. The BMW rolled and ejected the two people, killing them at the scene. The pair are alleged to be involved in a string of armed robberies along International Boulevard.
