Evansville, INIllinois State Police say Briana L. Lashley, 22, was driving a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu west on Interstate 64 at about 6:05 a.m. Saturday near milepost 109.5 when the vehicle left the roadway and drove into the median. The car continued on the median and struck a concrete bridge structure. Lashley and her two-year-old passenger were taken to a hospital, where the child was pronounced dead.

Friday, March 20, 2015At around 12:55 p.m. a school bus traveling on I-64 eastbound entered an off-ramp and lost traction on wet pavement. The bus ran off the road, struck a highway sign, and came to a stop in a ditch. Five elementary age students and one teacher were taken to a local hospital for an evaluation.
