One man was killed in a crash with a tractor trailer early Saturday morning on State Route 4 in East Greenbush. Paul E. Dambrowski, 62, of Troy, died after hitting the tractor trailer at the intersection of Third Avenue Extension and Route 4. The driver of the tractor trailer, John E. Taylor, sustained no injuries.

Law enforcement officers on Monday identified the pregnant woman killed in a Sunday multiple vehicle crash on Third Ave. Michelle Salisbury, 38, of East Greenbush, was seven months pregnant at the time of the crash. The status of the baby is unknown. The accident involved two four-door cars and a two-door Domino's Pizza delivery vehicle, as well as several cars parked along the residential street. A vehicle operated by Peter Breault, 69, of Latham, was traveling west on Third Ave. and crashed into the rear of another vehicle. Both vehicles then struck other vehicles.

At about 4:40pm, an accident involving a collision between a car and a school bus was reported. Carey, the driver of the car, was pronounced dead, but of the 26 students and driver on the bus, only one student was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

A 20-year-old man was charged with DWI after he knocked down a power pole with his car and police said they located his license plate at the scene. State Police said Cody D. Clickner of Wynantskill was driving his pick-up truck on Route 7 early Saturday when his truck hit a pole, which fell into the roadway with wires attached. Police said Clickner backed across a lawn and struck a mailbox before leaving the scene. Police said they found Clickner at his home after finding the license plate.

Two troopers in a police SUV were struck by a vehicle driving the wrong way onto exit 8 eastbound on I-90 in North Greenbush, NY.  The troopers were taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital, and released.  William Danish, the driver of the other vehicle, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent and a previous DWI conviction, Danish was arraigned in North Greenbush Town Court and sent to the Rensselaer County Jail.
