Police: drunk driver crashes into troopers on I-90
Two State Policetroopers sustained minor injuries after a drunk driver crashed into them going the wrong way on an I-90 exit ramp early Sunday, police said.
Two troopers in a police SUV were struck by a vehicle driving the wrong way onto exit 8 eastbound on I-90 in North Greenbush, NY. The troopers were taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital, and released. William Danish, the driver of the other vehicle, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent and a previous DWI conviction, Danish was arraigned in North Greenbush Town Court and sent to the Rensselaer County Jail.
